(a) The contract is for the hire and /or sale of linen products detailed on the contract. The parties to the contract are:      
(i) the Hirer, as an individual or an organisation whose official representative will be the name of the person on the contract.      
(ii) Elegant Event Hire is the brand name of Elegant Event Essentials Ltd (Registered No. 11241453) with registered office at Unit 221 Vernon Mill, 2nd Floor, Mersey Street, Stockport, SK1 2HX.      
(b) All linen hired products remains the property of Elegant Event Essentials Ltd at all times.      
(c) Where the Hirer is in breach or subject to insolvency or liquidation proceedings, Elegant Event Essentials Ltd may terminate the contract and collect linen products without affecting any rights to recover monies owing or breach of contract damages.      
(d) Acceptance of goods and services from us implies that you have accepted our Terms & Conditions.

(f) we aim to reply all email queries or voicemail / email queries with in 24 hours. So you will not be disappointed from our world class service.      
(g) if any product is lost or damage by hirer, the full replacement cost is applied. (it applies to promotional offer)        

Responsibilities of The Hirer:

(a) Adequate delivery and collection access will be provided by the Hirer.                
(b) The Hirer will check quantities and condition of linen products on delivery and sign the contract to confirm agreement.  Any damage or shortfall must be agreed, via phone or email prior to contract.      
(c) The Hirer accepts full responsibility for the security and safe use of the linen products until collection or return to Elegant Event Essentials Limited.      
(d) The Hirer shall return all linen products in supplied laundry bags by Elegnat Event Essentials Ltd.  Failure to return these items will result in a charge for their full replacement value being made to the Hirer.      


(a) Hire charges will be for periods of 3 days (72 hours) or one week (7 days) or multiples, including Bank Holidays, as detailed on the hire contract. All charges quoted are subject to VAT at the current rate.      
(b) Delivery and collection will be charged at current DPD contract.  Failed delivery and collection attempts will be charged extra.      
(c) All outstanding payments, including VAT, will be paid on demand.                  
(d) Deposits will be requested as security on linen hired products and will be used against any outstanding payments.  Any balance due is refunded back to the original source.      
(e) A minimum £100 refundable deposit payment will be required to secure & confirm your order.            
(f) Any linen hired products unavailable for inspection or collection, after a reasonable time, will be deemed to be lost and a charge will be made to the Hirer equal to the current replacement value of the linen product. The Hirer agrees to pay for all equipment loss, repair and cleaning.  Hire charges will continue until full payment is made.      
(g) All cancellations must be confirmed in writing at least 14 days before the hire equipment is due to go out on hire.  In the event of a cancellation, the following cancellation charges will apply;      
Up to 7 days prior to delivery – no charges payable by Hirer                  
Up to 5 days prior to delivery – 25% hire cost payable by Hirer                  
Up to 72 hours / 3days prior to delivery – 75% hire cost payable by Hirer                
(h)  Minor damage: we will not charge you for ‘Minor Damage’ to tablecloths. Minor damage covers damage from Mildew, Stains and General marks. we have already setup 1st dry clean charge in your quote.      
(i) MAJOR DAMAGE: Damage to tablecloths caused by candles that have burnt down and left a hole in the tablecloths or by indoor fireworks burning small holes in the tablecloths or any other willful damage will be charged for at replacement cost.      
You will be notified of any damage to hired linen, normally within 5 days from the day you returned the cloth.        
Damaged cloth(s) can be returned to you, as long as the delivery charge is paid for..              
A list of replacement charges can be sent to you on request.                  
(j) DAMP LINEN: Please ensure that damp linen is left to dry before being packed back into the boxes/bags. Damp linen is very susceptible to mildew, which can ruin a cloth within a few hours. A full replacement charge will be made for any cloth that is damaged beyond repair by mildew.      
(h) LINEN RETURNED UNUSED: There will be NO Refund / Credit for any linen that is returned unused.          


Up to 3 days – 1 x Hire rate (Bank Holiday Weekend includes 3 days hire terms)                
4 days – 7 days – 1.2 x Hire Rate                        
8 days – 14 days – 1.8 x Hire Rate

We always recommend our client to reserve and pay for your products as early as possible, to avoid disappointment.        
addition is always subject to availability. If you would like to remove any products from list then please contact us asap, to avoid extra cancellation charge.      
if your order is placed at last minutes (less than 4 days prior to event), then we would charge extra to fulfil your order.

We need Full payment prior to start hire period. We need refundable deposite depends on the order value.          


Once you have made your selection linen products and qty with one of our customer service team, you will need to make payment over the phone/ Cheque / BACS.      
The hirer will get email confirmation for payment and contract form.

Debit Card – VISA Debit or Maestro                        
Cheque  (Prior to hire Contract, allow one week to clear your funds if you pay by cheque.)            
BACS  (Prior to hire Contract, allow one week to clear your funds if you pay by BACS.)              

Delivery / Collection Policy:

When you decide to hire Linen Products from us, you have two following options –              
1) Collect in person                          
You can come and collect and return your linen products from our established warehouse in Stockport, UK.

2) Deliver to your location                          
we offer a very competitively priced based on delivery and collection location in UK and Northern Ireland.  The delivery and collection will be carried out by a national courier – DPD Courier Company.      
Please Note: The delivery to Nothren Ireland, Scotish highland, Scotish Islands, Channel Islands takes 2 working days delivery.      
Linen deliveries and collection will be made by a National Carrier, between 8:00am and 6:00pm.            
The standard delivery day for a (up to 3 days) weekend hire will normally be between 8:00am – 6:00pm on Thursday /Friday, unless any special request.      
To get delivery before 12pm (Monday to Friday), the extra surcharges will apply.              
The delivery days for above 4 days hire will be agreed in the contract.                  
The Collections from a weekend hire will be on Mondays / Tuesday between 8:00am – 6:00pm.
Please ensure that the linen is packed back in its supplied laundry bag(s) by 8:00am. The carriers will not wait for consignments that are not ready for collection. In some cases we can extend the collection day to Tuesday/ wednesday upon request. it must be agreed prior to start of hire contract. The collection label will be supplied by courier company.      
if the hirer miss the collection courier then hirer has to pay extra to rebook the collection slot next day.  It is important to ensure that there is someone available at the delivery/collection location to sign for the linen.      

Dirty Linen Return Policy:

We strongly recommand that the hirer should not wash any linen product, eventhough they are dirty.          
We always wash all linen products prior to new hire contract.                  
Any regid stain (like wine or food stain), please keep it for us.                  
We will charge £3.5 per table cloth to remove regid stain (taken from deposit). The hirer will be informed (photos).        
if we unable to dryclean the regid stains,  than the hirer has to pay full replacement cost of the product.          

Linen Laundry Bags:

The dirty linen must be returned into laundry bags.                    
Please treat the laundry bags with care.                      
Please store the laundry bags in a dry place. Do not leave the laundry bags outside in the rain.            
A £20.00 charge will be raised for the loss of, or any major damage to any laundry bag.
